Floyd Joy Mayweather Jr. is an American professional boxer. Mayweather is widely known as one of the best boxers of all time. He has won a five-division world championship, with fifteen world titles under his belt in four different weight classes. He is undefeated and has an excellent record of 49-0, will he be able to make it 50-0? Time will tell.

Irish born Conor McGregor is a mixed martial arts fighter and professional boxer. He started his MMA career in 2007. In 2012 he won two titles Cage Warriors Featherweight and Lightweight Championships and hold both at the same time.

Floyd Mayweather retired from boxing ring in September 2017 with an undefeated record,49-0.Mayweather is the overwhelming favorite to win this fight and the boxing fans around the world and current or former legendary boxers favor him against McGregor. He is mentally strong, he has good stamina, great efficiency, right punch and best defensive techniques made him a great boxer in the history of boxing. But one thing is of concern is his age, he is now 40 and may won’t be able to fight with the same passion and energy but still, he is favorite.

McGregor vs Mayweather

Conor McGregor is famous for his mixed martial arts.He has never been boxed professionally. The Las Vegas event will be a boxing match, not MMA.And he will have to face Mayweather who has an unbeaten record 49-0 in his professional career. This is a major deficiency of McGregor in front of Mayweather. But boxing is not an unknown chapter for McGregor. Actually he did some boxing bouts in his junior career. Most of the UFC lovers and fans of McGregor believe that his toughness, as well as his advantages in size, strength, weight, and age, will help him overcome any technical shortage against Mayweather. But kicks and use of legs are banned in this boxing fight that will cause a huge disadvantage for McGregor.Because kicks and use of legs are the main strength of McGregor in MMA.

Time will say who will win that combat. But people will expect their great performance at T- mobile arena on 26 August.

Mayweather vs McGregor

McGregor arrived dressed to impress — although today’s suit didn’t have anything written on it — while Mayweather was again happy to sport a more casual look. The boxing champion danced his way on-stage in a black T-shirt and cap and it wasn’t long before the two men were nose-to-nose trash-talking. Fight fans were again merciless with Showtime executive Stephen Espinoza when he opened the event — booing so loud it was hard to hear him. McGregor appeared a little unprepared for the format of boxing press conferences at yesterday’s opener — but he was on fire today. He opened by asking “does this microphone work?” after having his switched off while Mayweather spoke in LA. He then led the audience in a chant of “f*** the Mayweathers!” before turning his attention to “weasel” Espinoza. “F*** Showtime!” he said. McGregor also thumbed his nose at criticism he was racist yesterday, repeating his demand Mayweather “dance for me boy”.
He again nailed Mayweather’s outfit, saying he looked like a “12-year-old break dancer b****”.

“You’re 40 f***ing years of age. Learn to dress,” McGregor said. “You’re carrying a schoolbag on stage. What do you need a schoolbag for? You can’t even read!”
The crowd was completely pro-McGregor — and as Mayweather took his turn to speak began chanting “pay your taxes”. Mayweather’s attempts to lead another “hard work, dedication” chant fell flat, but he did draw McGregor in to agreeing to bet his whole fight purse on the result. We’ll see if that was just talking. Mayweather tempted fate by draping an Irish flag around his shoulders. “You do something with that flag I’ll f*** you up,” McGregor said. The Irishman grabbed Mayweather’s backpack and opened it — and didn’t find as much cash as he expected. “$5000, that’s it?” he said. This was a win for McGregor but Mayweather brushed it off. “You’ve got to understand, I’m not phased by this,” he said. “The fans can’t fight for him … I’ve been through this so many times.”

More importantly, though, are questions about the formats of the remaining press conferences. In the world of mixed martial arts, McGregor turned them into spectacles with quick retorts to claims and comments made by other fighters. In Los Angeles, he didn’t have that opportunity. Instead the presser opened with lengthy speeches from boxing promoters in front of an impatient crowd. When McGregor interrupted Mayweather’s turn for a speech, his microphone was cut. It didn’t stop McGregor from shining in the moment or Mayweather from stepping out of character a bit to play showman for the Staples Center crowd. But the highlight of the day was likely the banter between McGregor and Floyd Mayweather Sr., who crashed the media Q&A portion of the Irishman’s day. Either the format of the press tour will be changed or McGregor will have to adjust to a style that he didn’t anticipate or prepare much for. In Toronto, we’ll get our second look at the two facing off and it promises to offer plenty more quotes and sound bites.
